Over the past couple years the pastors of the nation of Macedonia have been gathering together to meet in unity and to evangelize their nation. It is the pastors' desire to see Macedonia transformed by the gospel.

Through other contacts in Washington state, this group of pastors became aware of Mission Spokane and the efforts we are making here in the Inland Northwest. One of the Macedonia team was here in Spokane last year to meet with some of us from Mission Spokane and we have made an agreement to pray for them on a regular basis, as they do for Spokane.

The pastors have made a request of the Mission Spokane Team along with the Tacoma Servant Leader Team to send representatives to Macedonia this fall to lead their first Pastors Prayer Summit. They hope to bring together over 60 pastors for the very first time. They are requesting that the "Church of Spokane" send a couple representatives.

Pastor Ezra Kinlow and Pastor Glen Weber, both experienced facilitators trained by International Renewal Ministries, are making plans to attend this prayer summit to assist with facilitating and to train a couple local Macedonian pastors who will be able to facilitate for them in coming years.

Besides speaking in some of the churches on the Sunday, Pastor Ezra and Pastor Glen will also be spending time in small group and one-on-one situations with pastors to encourage, pray with and assist them in their ministry to the city and nation.

Pastors Ezra and Glen are arranging some personal funds as well as some from our congregations, but we are inviting the Church of Spokane to participate in this special mission to train and disciple a large percentage of the pastors in the nation of Macedonia. If your congregation has some mission funds that could assist with this trip, or if you personally as a fellow pastor would like to participate financially, please send a tax-deductible check to Mission Spokane (Attn: Macedonia), PO Box 18178, Spokane, WA 99228-0178.

If you cannot participate financially, please take a moment to lift up a
prayer for the preparations we are making for this trip and then pray for the trip from September 13th to 23rd.
