Dear Friends,
What an impact Dr. Ruth Ruibal from Cali
Colombia had on those of us who heard
her during her recent visit here in Spokane.
At the citywide Community Transformation
evening meeting on June 13, 2004, Ruth
spoke a strong word from the Lord that
greatly challenged and encouraged our
faith in God. Some of our Mission Spokane
team discovered very quickly that we had
a new level of faith for what we feel
called to do in the city.
We long for your hearts to be stirred
as well. Audio, video and DVD recordings
of that key transformational evening service
are available. Would you be willing to
obtain one and share it with some of your
family, friends and coworkers?
During an earlier presentation that evening,
Ruth gave an excellent teaching on unity
for kingdom impact among the Christian
congregations in a community ---what it
is and what it isn't. She is an excellent
spokeswoman for the practical principles
of unity that the Church in Cali has discovered.
I believe there was a clear message for
the pastors and congregations Spokane
that can help us stand together for Spokane.
Pastors, if you would be willing to receive
copies of Ruth's messages on unity and
faith and possibly share them with your
congregations, Mission Spokane would like
to help make that possible. Please email
your interest to info@missionspokane.org
or call me at 509-468-4855.
To order the Royal Crown Live Productions

Yours and Christ's for unity and faith
in the Church of Spokane and the Inland
Northwest,
Dan Grether
PS I made some notes of Ruth's talk that
Sunday evening
"
having our hearts knit together
for the purposes of God in our community."
"The Church in Cali was praying together
and God was answering."
At Julio Ruibal's funeral, the pastors
of the city covenanted together, "We
are one and we will not let anything divide
us."
