A House Church Weekend in Spokane Washington with Wolfgang Simson
April 22-24, 2005

____________________________________________
The Return of the House Churches…
“Millions of Christians around the world are becoming aware of an imminent reformation of global proportions within the Church. God is changing this revered institution and is making a new collective awareness of an age-old revelation, a corporate spiritual echo that reflects God’s desire for the Church. In this book, Wolfgang Simson brings to light what God is saying to the Christians everywhere. Researched across the globe, he presents the case for the new reformation of the Church’s existence. It is time to bring the Church to the people…” -from the book cover of Houses that Change the World.

Dear Friends,

When I first heard Wolfgang Simson speak, I judged that his thinking would change the world more than Martin Luther. To catch the flavor of what I heard, check out Wolfgang’s Fifteen Theses at http://www.housechurch.org/basics/simson_15.html

Wolf is pictured on the left with Victor Choudhrie in India… http://www.simsonwolfgang.de/images/victorws.jpg

Yours and Christ’s for the churching of the nations,

Friday Strategy Consultation with Wolfgang Simson, for current house church leaders and others that God might be calling to this movement:

FRIDAY 10:30 am-3:30 pm.
At the Union Gospel Mission Chapel
1224 East Trent, Spokane, WA just north of I-90 and east of Hamilton

A day of interactive discussion and brainstorming in two areas:
1. The Visionary. What is God's heart for fulfilling the Great Commission in the Inland Northwest? What would it take for there to be "a church within walking distance" of everyone in the Spokane area? Church Planting Movements (rapid multiplication of churches into every people group and neighborhood) are springing up in many places in the world. Could that happen here?

2. The Practical. In the house church, what do you do with the children? How do you handle money? (Should leaders be paid? What about benevolence? Who decides?) How should house churches network together? What about the five fold ministries in Ephesians 4? Can house churches and traditional churches work together?

REQUIREMENT: Those coming to the Strategy Consultation must have perused Houses that Change the World before you come (for an informed discussion, please). May be ordered through the web link noted on http://www.faithact.org/ (approximately $8.49 + S&H. Order online NOW or call your local Christian Book store for availability).

COST: “Starter Seed” donation for the Consultation, $15/person or $25/couple
A love offering will be taken to bless Wolf and Mercy.
Please make registration checks payable to Faith in Action, and mail to Rod Skalitzky, 920 Malvern Circle Rd., Liberty Lake, WA 99019. Note: Consultation.
