Tedd Craven has been helping us reach
out to the Rainbow Family and other "throwaway" youth
for the past several months. Many of us have new hearts
for the lost among us and a new awareness of their spiritual
hunger. Tedd is now heading for a regional Rainbow Gathering
in Wisconsin where the next annual gathering is expected
to be. He will be working with the Church there to prepare
for next year's ministry. If you would like to call
or send him a thank you note or offering to help him
on his way, contact information is at the end of his
note.
Dear Church of Spokane,
Of all the cities and towns across this great land
of America, there is one city poised to see the LORD
pour out HIS SPIRIT in a great and mighty way, unlike
any other city. Yes, Spokane, you are sure to see mighty
revival in the powerful name of JESUS.
Continue to reach out to the lost and pray for the
FATHER'S heart. Treat them in the same way you want
to be treated. Do you want to go hungry? Neither do
they! Do not allow the riches of this world to keep
you from true riches, the riches that comes from seeing
a lonely desperate soul come to the GOD of love. Implement
ways to deal with all the homeless youth in desperate
need that will not come to your churches. Go to the
nighttime hang outs around town and just take a couple
of pizzas. Do not preach, let HIS light in you do the
preaching! Don't do this just once, or twice. Do it
over and over again. If you happen to smell marijuana
while out, don't fret it. Show them that HIS love is
all they need.
When I came to this area, I had intended to stay in
Sandpoint, Idaho, but the LORD had greater plans than
I did. HE directed me to stay in Spokane. Yes, the LORD
has big plans for Spokane as HE has always. There is
a shaking coming, you are feeling the rumbles of it,
but do not faint and do not let your heart grow weary.
HE is shaking you so that you will realize the insecurity
of being in a structure. HE will ultimately cause you
to realize the need to get out of your structures and
into the streets. Go have a barbecue in the park one
Sunday and invite the whole city to come to your free
barbecue. If some bring beer, so what, love them anyway.
Show them our GOD is bigger than that.
Spend much time in prayer, but you will do right also
to spend ample time in the streets. I do believe the
LORD is pleased and has found you worthy to reap. Reap,
Church of Spokane! Reap the harvest that is ready to
be harvested.
Num. 6:24 The LORD bless you, and keep you; 25 The
LORD make His face shine on you, And be gracious to
you; 26 The LORD lift up His countenance on you, And
give you peace.
