Mission Spokane Prayer Update
August 24, 1999

Pray especially, please for the Mission Spokane Servant Leaders overnight session next Monday (all day) and Tuesday (till noon or one), August 30-31. We are going apart to hear clearly from the Lord what it is we are to be doing first for the next year, two, five... We want to know every step that the Lord Jesus Christ desires to reveal to us at this time so that we can follow obediently.

I see a golden kernel of hope in this "company of twelve" followers of the Lord that gives great promise for Spokane's future. We stand in desperate need of your prayers so that we will go forward in the might of the Lord. Thank you for holding us in prayer! I'll append the list of current servant leaders so that you may keep us in prayer.

For those of you who calendar ahead, Intercessors for Spokane meets the second Tuesday of September, 7-9 pm at our home, which will be a warm-up for meeting with leaders and teams of intercessors from around our area overnight Friday-Saturday, September 17-18, 7 pm-6 am or as long as the Lord leads. (Place TBA.)

I see the overnight prayer time as crucial to the Church of Spokane,
freedom, repentance and next steps. Please be seeking the Lord for that time and come expectantly.

September 30th, 8:30 am, is another day "on the Lord's calendar," I
believe, when the pastors of Spokane County are invited to take "A Look at the Harvest." I'm beginning to get excited as I prepare written and Power Point reports for this key meeting. The initial church survey information that I've been pouring over for days is beginning to speak persuasively to me. It confirms that although we have been "making progress," we have been "losing ground" or at least gaining precious little.

This day will be an opportunity for pastors in Spokane to decide to be an active, functioning part of the Church of Spokane. On the wings of prayer... there will be success. To the glory of the one and only Son of God our Savior, Jesus Christ!

The current Servant Leaders team is..
